The International Maritime Center invites you to a
sunset dinner cruise on the San Francisco Bay with
special guests: The Rt. Rev. Bishop Marc Andrus and
his lovely wife Sheila.

The International Maritime Center is an Episcopal
Charities Partner Agency and provides services to
seafarers, waterfront workers, longshoremen, and
truckers at various Bay Area ports regardless of
religion, race or nationality.
WHO WILL WALK WITH BISHOP MARC?
Which of our parishioners will walk with our new
Bishop Marc on Saturday, October 13, 2007 in
Episcopal Charities annual 7.5- or12-mile Walk-a-
thon? This brisk walk through San Francisco enables
participants to visit and understand how Episcopal
Charities 14 partner agencies help poor, oppressed and
endangered Bay Area individuals break the cycle of
poverty and improve their lives. Episcopal Charities
hopes to have representation for all 80 churches in the
diocese including youth groups.
Episcopal Charities partner agencies provide food,
shelter, healthcare, tutoring and job training, substance
abuse counseling, healing ministry and social services
to homeless and very low income individuals and
families. Walkers will visit Episcopal Community
Services, Good Samaritan Family Resource Center, the
Family Link, St. Lukes Clinic, Ohlhoff Recovery,
Sojourn Chaplaincy, Episcopal Homes San Francisco
Tower and several San Francisco churches where
representatives of Berkeley Food and Housing Project,
Interfaith Hospitality Network, Canal Alliance, Tri
City Homeless Coalition, St. Dorothys Rest, Clausen
House and Bay Area Seafarers Service will talk about
their agencies.
Lunch, a T-shirt and snacks will be provided. Parish
teams of 12 or more receive 25% back from the money
they raise for their churches outreach ministries.
Registration is $35 before September 21 and $45 after.
