September 17th:
Our first ever Holy Youthcharist, with music
selected by you, and an interactive sermon based
on the Bible, Calvin and Hobbes and
whomever else happens to wander across our
screen. We will be sharing our experiences in
Alaska. This service will also be of interest to
adults, so DO COME. Coffee hour will feature
pizza and a quick meeting. If we like it, well do
it once a month.
THANK YOU WILD YOUNG CARIBOU
for all your help with Summer Spirit Camp! And
we welcome Alexander Kennison,
our newest Caribou!
HERE ARE SOME REFLECTIONS
ABOUT ALASKA
:
Mike: It was fun. The strangest part was all the
light. You could always do stuff. There wasnt
that shut down mode of it being night. I
remember complaining about being hungry even
though I felt I shouldnt be because it was still
light outside. Then we looked at our watch and it
was 11:00 at night.
Cody: I liked it never getting dark. You can do
so much stuff when its light all the time. The
Army/Navy Surplus store in Anchorage was the
best. (Note from Rev. Carol: I agree.)
Meredith: I liked the light too. The puppies were
great and it was good just to be able to hang out.
Cameron: Me too.

September 17th!***
And 7th Graders and older take note:
we plan to return to Alaska during the
summer of 2008!
