Senior Warden’s Report:
Hello Redeemer Family,
I just returned from my last back to school coffee
hour at Glenwood Elementary.  I saw many old
familiar faces there and plenty of new ones. Our own
Betsy Nakamura is PTA President. Ryan Chung and
Molly Scubecz are starting their Kindergarten year,
how exciting!  Reggie, Kat, Haley and Grayson will
be ending their Glenwood days this year for
themselves and sadly for their families. With all the
new things that go along with new school years, I am
very thankful that I have our Redeemer family as a
constant, ongoing network of friends to socialize and
worship with.
What a summer we had. We had some very
wonderful sublime moments - when the Bishop was
Invested - it was like watching Royalty being
crowned; sad moments - with the passing of David
Ewell - Pat you are always in our hearts and prayers;
and moments of sheer silly gladness at vacation fun
camp at Redeemer.  We also had some very long
moments of heat spell, I hope that is over - whew.
We still have plenty of great moments left before
summer is officially over, like Kids Karnival,
Camping at Hendy Woods, Floating Fridays and
High School gatherings. I hope everyone who comes
in the doors of Redeemer can find many memorable
moments this year.
Peace,
Cindy Poulos
P.S., Please take a few moments to reply to the
enclosed Redeemer census. Your Bishop’s
Committee needs the information to better serve our
church community!
WE’VE LOVED YOU REV. LYNN!
Please come and celebrate Rev. Lynn’s last Sunday
with us, September 10th, with a festive coffee hour
between the services. Lynn has been called to serve
as Interim at Holy Innocents’ in Corte Madera. We
will miss you Lynn, also Helen, Kelly, Carl and
Ryan. Your love, voice and friendship has made such
a difference to us!

CONGREGATIONAL CYCLE OF
PRAYER
September 3: We pray for all our families camping at
Hendy Woods State Park. We pray for the redwoods
that shield them, the rivers that refresh them and the
birds who fill their mornings with song.
September 10: We give thanks for the ministry of
Rev. Lynn and pray that her love and wisdom lights
up Holy Innocents Parish during their time of
transition.
September 17: We give thanks for the ministry of our
Altar Guild, who keep God’s house clean and tidy,
and whose care of the vessels and linens is the
sacrament of the sacraments.
September 24: We give thanks for everyone who
gave so generously of their time and talent to make
Kids’ Karnival our best ever gift to the community.
October 1: We pray for our earth. And we give
thanks for the tireless service of Joe and Patty
Garbarino who, in running the best recycling
program in the nation, have shown how one family
can make a difference.
