What a joyful sound they produced

!
It was a joy to see so
many happy faces and to hear such upbeat singing.
We rocked! What struck me most was how happy
and focused they all looked with feet tapping, and
bodies moving to the beat. I believe we were
privileged to be in on the beginning of something
that will be important to our community and our
parish. Thanks, also, to Cindy for organizing their
rehearsals and to all the Moms and Dads who got
their kids to those rehearsals. What a worthwhile
effort! I also want to express my appreciation to
all the 10:30 attendees who gracefully accepted
the sudden change to a joint service
this past Sunday.

all joy to the new parents!

Norma Neal Ricker e-mailed from England
Just had my 60th birthday - my brother did a
slide show with lots of photos of my folks*, lots of
wonderful memories. [*Ed. Note: Normas parents,
Charlie and Norma, were founding members of our
church. Many of us remember seeing Charlie as Head
Usher every Sunday sweeping the front walkway,
greeting everyone with a blessing.]
[Another Ed. note: Send me your news and gossip,
folks!]
