Summer Wrap Up by Billie
It was a great summer at Redeemer. We had a wonderful Pancake Breakfast, thanks to the guys
(Greg Poulos, Rick Skubecz, Glenn Godbold, Scott Valeschini and Jeff English), two car washes
thanks to our High School Youth Group and wonderful dads - Jim Fox and Elliot Blank and of course
our very first Camp Hogwarts – again thanks to our High Schoolers (Mike, Meredith, Cameron, Ka-
tie and Lizzie) and of course our fabulously energetic Rev. Carol! This summer we also showed we
care, by reaching out to serve dinners to the homeless, taking the Holy Eucharist to those unable
to come to Redeemer and sending backpacks to Ritter House. Once again, a lot of children will be
starting off the school year with brand new school supplies and back packs, thanks to our Re-
deemer Family! Twenty five filled back packs and extra supplies were delivered to Ritter House on
August 6th, to be given to children in need of assistance. Thanks to all those who donated and the
crew of volunteers who assembled all the packs with supplies, especially the campers and counsel-
ors at Camp Hogwarts and Linda Fox who delivered them all to Ritter House. We are so proud to
be a sponsor of this Ritter House event.
