ALL SAINTS SUNDAY
The great feast of All Saints Day, on which we
remember and honor all those saints who have gone on
before us, who taught us, who inspired us, who loved
us, or whom we just miss, lands this year on November
4. Please let us know for whom you would have us
pray, and we will remember them all in
the context of worship.

Wednesday, November 21, 7 pm
Please join our Redeemer community in welcoming
our friends and neighbors from St. Luke Presbyterian
church for a joint service on the eve of Thanksgiving.
The service begins at 7 pm and will be relatively short
(about 45 minutes). Come and make a joyful noise, and
break a little bread with our neighbors.

(and no, its not a mystery!); at Liesje Blanks home
(456-0564) at noon.

Bishop Marcs Visit:
Sunday, December 2:
Service at 4pm
Reception to follow in Rory and Carol Campbells
beautiful home, the old McNear Mansion
.
We will be celebrating Redeemers
50th anniversary, and welcoming Bishop Marc for his
first visitation and to help us celebrate our anniversary.
We won't have services that morning, but one
combined service at 4pm, followed by a reception up at
the McNear Mansion, where our first church services
were held. The service will be kid-friendly, so please
don't leave them at home! As for the reception, I have
it on high authority that Bishop Marc LOVES
homemade vegetarian food, so let's welcome him and
his wife Sheila with a feast. If you want to help make
any of this happen, reply to Fr. Steve (456-0508) or
contact Eileen Erler (456-7255), Cathy Kirk (457-
3841), or Nellie Pamatmat (457-4053).

BISHOPS COMMITTEE OPEN POSITIONS
At the Annual Meeting in January, the congregation
will elect three new Bishops Committee members. If
you are interested in serving on the Bishops
Committee, the first thing you should do is talk to an
existing member of the BC, and ask them whats
entailed, and whats on the horizon. Those members
are: Elliot Blank, John Chung, Sue Clark, Eileen Erler,
Sally Garbarino, Betsy Nakamura, Kim Johnson, Jim
Providenza, and Mary Sparks.
Keep your eyes peeled for further communication by
email (and newsletter) in December.
