We grossed $10,089 and
netted over $6000!
As you may know, Ron Fullmer, Janets husband,
works for Living Water International, an organiza-
tion that digs wells and helps poorer countries de-
velop clean water programs. In an email, Ron wrote:
As you may know, a recent hurricane has caused
massive damage and loss of life in Guatemala. Due to
the destruction of many bridges there, our Living
Water International (LWI) trip has changed we are
now going to drill a well in El Salvador.
We still will fly out on 11/12/05 and return on
11/19/05. I don't have any details about where in El
Salvador that we will be drilling - somewhere on the
Pacific coast. I do know that the same team will be
together and that we'll be using a different drill rig.
We still ask for your prayers as the time approaches
and while we're on the trip. Please pray for the peo-
ple of both Guatemala and El Salvador - they are
going through some very rough times, right now.
Thanks and Blessings, Ron
Ron also reported that if Americans were to donate
the money that we spend on water in disposable
plastic bottles, EVERYONE IN THE WORLD
COULD HAVE CLEAN DRINKING WATER!
Ron, we cant save everyone, but we can make a
contribution to your cause during Advent
GIVE UP THE BOTTLE PROJECT
Thats right! During Advent, lets give up buying Ar-
rowhead, Refreshe, Kirkland, Pellegrino, Fiji, Dasani,
Aquafina and drink water on tap. It will spare much
recycling and we can give the money to Living
Waters International. More details at Church.
