Confirmation in the  Church 
recognizes that the beginning of 
adult responsibility takes place 
with  the first stirrings of 
adulthood in adolescence. 
Therefore, we ask your prayers for the following young people 
who are beginning their journey toward mature faith.

May Almighty God, our heavenly Father, who has put the desire

If you are a Middle School student and would like to be confirmed, 
there is still time to join us. We meet two Sundays per month at 1 p.m.
NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER CONFIRMATION CLASSES
November 6, 20, December 4 and December 18.

                  COMING in ADVENT
            Bring a Friend to Church Season
The weeks leading to Christmas are a meaningful time for many
to take a break from the hectic holidays and discover the joy of worship and prayer. 
To this end, we’ve declared the whole season of Advent 
BRING A FRIEND TO CHURCH MONTH.
Kids’ Church will feature the wildly popular “Road to Bethlehem” Godly Play series, 
while 10:30 will feature teachings about faith, Bishops and other perplexities along the road. 
DID YOU KNOW that 53% of all California children between the ages of 3 and 5 are not enrolled in a preschool program?
This report comes from the California Council of Churches which reports that 39% of families making $30,000 a year or less
enroll their children, 41% of families making under $75,000 and 63% of families making over $75,000. California ranks only
37th in the nation in terms of preschool/childcare enrollment. 25% of licensed preschool/childcare facilities are housed or run
by religious congregations. In order to make preschool education more accessible and affordable, Rob Reiner has introduced
