SAINTS AND ANGELS
We give thanks for these parishioners who have given of
their time, treasure and talents:
Many, many thanks to all of you whose love and
work made our Easter a time of real new life and
renewal. The flower cross has never been more
beautiful. Thanks again to Rudy Erler for building
it, Eileen Erler for setting up the flower mesh and
Bob Burton for photographing it and all the festivity
of Easter Day!
Thanks to the members of the Bishops Committee
for all your hard work on growth and mission.
Thanks to all the members of the Altar Guild who
gave extra time and effort setting up for many extra
services and making the Church sparkle.
Thanks to everyone who helped on our April 7th
Work Day, especially Andrew, Chris and Steve
Burton, Nick Cassettari and Nicky DiMartini who
did the hard rock work so that we can clear our tree
stump. Thanks to John Chung for coordinating the
day and bringing soil and his truck. Thanks to
participants Linda Fox, Glenn, Julie and Haley
Godbold, Sue Clark, Kim and Erika Johnson, and
Rudy Erler.
Many thanks to the whole Burton Clan with help
from Danny Smilie and Nick Cassettari for a
fabulous Easter Egg Hunt!

REDEEMER FILM FESTIVAL
Our next film festival evening will be Friday, May 11th
at 7:00 p.m. Well be watching:
the classic tale of murder, mystery and monastic
skullduggery, The Name of the Rose, starring Sean
Connery as the inimitable Franciscan Friar William
of Baskerville. Rather like the Middle Ages which
had some difficulties with the boundaries of sex
and/or violence, this film is rated R.
Family fare will return in June with Inherit the
Wind, the classic drama about the Scopes
Monkey Trial.
