FROM THE SENIOR WARDEN
Summer is almost upon us and the frenzy of the end of the
school year, sports teams and service organizations, is all
winding down. As our obligations finish one by one, we get
into the summer mode of long lazy days and warm starry
nights. Its a great time to reflect on all of the
wonderful gifts especially family and friends that God
has given to us. Take time to go on that walk at dawn or
dusk, hold your partners hand, hug your child, pat your dog
or make that phone call to a friend or loved one that
youve been putting off. Life is precious and should be
savored.
As I said goodbye to our dear friend Gil Taylor, he once
again taught me something about life. I realized from him,
that the secret of being ready to face whatever challenges
lay ahead, is knowing that all of our business here is taken
care of. Gil and Molly did that so beautifully together.
They once again rose to the occasion and served as a model
for all of us to follow. Id like to thank all of you who
came to honor Gil and support Molly at his memorial
service on May 10th. It was a lovely tribute to a
wonderful man. Id also like to thank our Altar Guild for
setting up, cleaning up and once again making our Church
sparkle; Sue Clark, Nellie Pamatamat and Ann Zolessi for
lovingly tending to the grounds and countless details to
make sure that everything was perfect for Gil and Mollie;
and to Rev. Carol who not only spent countless hours at
Gils bedside, but put together a lovely personal service,
that truly honored Gil. I am so glad to be a part of such a
wonderfully supportive community.
As we all leave for various places this summer, please
remember your Redeemer family. Continue to stop by when
youre in town and send postcards when youre not. Please
also remember to continue to keep up with your
Stewardship Pledge, even if youre not around.
Unfortunately, the bills have to be paid regardless of
whether or not were in town, so consider doubling up or
mailing in a check if youre going to be gone for several
weeks. Dont take the whole summer off from Redeemer
though, because God never takes a vacation from us.
Enjoy!

GROUNDING
OURSELVES IN
DREAMS:
New Groups at Redeemer
Dreams according to dream expert Jeremy Taylor, speak
a universal language of healing and wholeness. Coming as
they do from the same archetypal consciousness as makes
myth and wisdom, dreams speak not only to the dreamer,
but also those privileged to hear. Using Jeremys method
of Projective Dreamwork in which we imagine ourselves
inside one anothers dream landscapes, participants will
discover amazing and healing truths. I promise. The
Examined Life is not only a good thing, its a happy one as
well. Groups will meet on Monday and Tuesday of each
month as follows:
Monday, June 6 and 20, 7 p.m.
Tuesday, June 7, 9:30 a.m.
A HEALING CIRCLE OF CARE:
a contemplative early evening service
Beginning on Sunday, June 12th, at 5:00 p.m., we will be
offering a service of healing for all people. Through
prayers, simple chant, scripture, silence and laying on of
hands, we will express Gods love and care for you, bless
you or someone you love in strength, sickness and sadness.
This quiet service will bring the weekend to a close and
prepare you for a new week. Dress is casual. Bring your
friends.
Facilitated by the Redeemer Healing Team: Rev. Francis
Geddes, Joan Westmoreland, Paula Zand, Rev. Carol Luther.

Summer Healing Services will be on
