Senior Wardens Report:
Hello Redeemer family,
I am writing this letter while packing for a three
week trip to France, so hopefully I wont start
lapsing into French. (Very small chance of that as I
know about 20 words.) While abroad, I intend to
attend a church service or two at an Anglican
Cathedral, to be inspired by the old world
architecture and to feel close to God in a new
space. I think my kids will be awed by the scale
and beauty of Westminster Abbey and Notre
Dame.
Speaking of places of worship, Redeemer is
getting a new look for the front of the Church.
Thank you, Nick Clark for getting rid of the not-so-
pretty, rather eye-sore junipers. With a little work,
some new plants and possibly at some point some
hardscaping, our Church can look much more
welcoming.
I hope everyone will at some point in the summer
get a chance to spend some time with nature to
rest and renew the spirit, and to get away from
the day to day. When you are at home, come to
Redeemer for low tech, fun summer Sundays, an
hour of rest and time to renew your spirit at home.
Happy Travels.
Peace,
Cindy Poulos- Sr. Warden
