THANKS! (x 2)
My very dear friends at Redeemer,
I am writing with grateful thanks for your
most generous gift to the School for Deacons.  It
means so much to me that you value my participation
at Redeemer as a deacon that you wished to help
others who are at school now learning to be deacons.
The School for Deacons is called “the preeminent
school for the formation of deacons in the country”,
and I believe that.  Education there is so rich, and it
includes field education in social agencies and in
churches.  That education brought me to Redeemer.  I
so value the almost four years I was with you, and all
of you will remain in my heart and in my prayers.
Thanks and love in Christ, Julie
Mollie Taylor, who has been at Smith Ranch Care
recovering from a torn Achilles tendon, will be
moving to her new home at Aldersly Retirement in San
Rafael on Wednesday, June 22nd
.
I spoke with Mollie this morning – she really
appreciated the care and concern of all those who
visited her, called her on the phone and brought both
flowers and treats!
(check the bulletin board for her personal note)
