FROM THE SR WARDEN
Summer has just come upon us and we’re already heading
toward Kids’ Karnival!
This year, because our Stewardship Campaign fell short by
about $15,000, it is Imperative that we all work together
to make the carnival as successful as possible,  in order to
make up some of the shortfall. We are hoping to get
everyone, from both services,
to commit to a three hour block of time.  If you’re not too
good at standing, we have jobs that can be done sitting.  If
you can’t sit or stand, maybe you
could bake something for our “cake walk”.  There is plenty
to do and we can always use the extra hands.
We will again be asking for sponsorships to
underwrite the cost of the event and also for families to
“adopt a booth” by arranging for workers for each shift
during the day.  For now, you can help by marking the date
and watching for sign-up sheets.  You won’t want to miss
it, because it is really a fun day to spend with your
neighbors and friends.
Another of my favorite summer projects is the Backpack
give away for Ritter House, that occurs the first week in
August. It is so rewarding to take your children along to
get new school supplies for a child that couldn’t afford
new things, without your help.
We will start collecting new back packs and supplies on
July 1st and will assemble them, with the help of our Youth
Group, on August 1st
h
.  I hope you’ll join us in supporting
both events.
Have a happy, healthy, safe summer and don’t forget thank
God for all that He’s given us each day!

FLOWER ARRANGING
WANTED - 5 people who would be willing to do our
altar flower arrangements on an occasional basis. If you
are interested in doing arrangements, please sign up on the
posted sheet on the bulletin board at the back of the
church. Thank you!
FROM OUR SEMINARIAN
My name is Janet Fullmer, and I am delighted that my
husband Ron and I will be joining you for a year, come
September.
Our home is Colorado, but we’re currently living in
Berkeley where I am a third year student at CDSP (Church
Divinity School of the Pacific, an Episcopal Seminary).
Ron telecommutes from our apartment to his job in
Denver—he loves the commute.  We live with Joshua
George, our six year old Golden Retriever mix - a passerby
told me definitively that he is Golden and Australian
Shepherd and we can affirm that if he gets three people
standing together, he’ll try to round ‘em up and herd ‘em
out. Ron and I are both from Ohio, and met and fell in love
at Ohio State.  We have moved around some since we
married, living in Maine, New Hampshire, Colorado and now
California.  To keep the progression, we think our next
move should be Alaska or Hawaii.   We have been privileged
to go on mission trips to Haiti, Sudan and India, where we
have seen God’s great love for all of His people shine
through very clearly even in the midst of hardship and
poverty, and those trips have inspired our faith.
We look forward to worshipping with you, and sharing our
stories.  In the meantime, we wish each and every one of
you a wonderful summer in the abundance of God’s Love and
Grace~  May the Lord shower you with joy and peace!
Janet Fullmer
STEWARDSHIP PLEDGES
As we all leave for various places this summer, please
remember your Redeemer family.  Please also remember to
continue to keep up with your Stewardship Pledge, even if
you’re not around.  Unfortunately, the bills have to be paid
regardless of whether or not we’re in town, so consider
doubling up or mailing in a check if you’re going to be gone
for several weeks.  Don’t take the whole summer off from
Redeemer though, because God never takes a vacation from
us!
