OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES
Ritter Center Family to Family Gifts
Again this year, we are sharing our love and
concern for others by
sharing the bounty of
Christmas with those less fortunate than we
are. Linda Fox has placed the sign up boards
in the back of the Church. We need to have
our presents back to the church by 12/6
next Thursday - so please pick up a post-it
or two this Sunday, the 2nd
and start shopping!
Show That You Care!
This January, we are once again partnering
with Milkcare, to send gently used stuffed
animals to children living in 13 orphanages
in Vietnam. If you have donations you can
bring them to Church or drop them off
on our porch at 32 Castlewood Drive. Let
your donations bring smiles to little ones
living a world away.
Billie Barbash and Family
Also in January, we will be collecting gently
worn coats and other gear blankets,
sleeping bags, etc. for those homeless folk
who live on our streets. Watch for the
collection boxes at the church
in early January.

"How Many Light Bulbs Does It Take to
Change a Christian?"
The Episcopal Diocese and Bishop Marc are
working toward a better environment, one
congregation at a time. Each congregation
and its members are being asked to take
constructive steps toward saving the
environment, through better ecological
practices around the church, home and
around the community. More information
will be coming on this issue, from the
Christian point of view, from Redeemer's
own Elliott Blank, our liaison to the Diocese
Commission for the Environment. Several
steps are already being taken to lighten
Redeemer's footprint on the environment.
Stay tuned, and thanks (from Elliott.)
